Summer is coming to an end and it might be a good time to update your head shots and profile pictures for your business. Here are a few that we did for SRT Solutions, a software development company in Ann Arbor, MI.
Web Banner Advertising
Next time someone visits your website, greet them with a video about your services. A great place to embed an informational video is in the banner area of your website.
Being Personable
A good way to show people what you do, and how you do it, is to make a video about your business. People want to see your company in action, they want to gather a ton of information very quickly and they want to see why your company is unique.
Here’s what we did for the owners of Guardian Tree Experts. They wanted a personable video that showcased a few of their top services, and reached out to their customers wants and needs. By having Jack Richardson, one of Guardian’s owners be the main talent, the video speaks directly to their potential customers, showing them that he is friendly, professional and accessible. Jack also wanted to make the point that Guardian is different from their competitors because they take great care in safety, overall tree health, and customer satisfaction.
The completed video is now showcased on the Guardian Tree Expert website, www.GuardianTreeExperts.com and is also posted on the various social media sites like Youtube, Vimeo, and Google, making it a very cost effective way of marketing.

Videos = Sales
“I’ve been in sales and marketing for over 10 years. Recently I produced a demonstration/informational video about a new product that I invented. I am so impressed with the results that I wanted to share my experience and let other sales people know the power of visual marketing materials like promotional videos. This video has saved me time and money. I can now send it to my prospects and sometimes even make a sale without stepping a foot in an office or showroom. Thanks InMotion Studios!” Brandon Muscott

This particular video was quite a challenge because our customer was a start-up business, they were bootstrapping everything, trying to keep costs to a minimum. At the same time they needed a way to show people their new and very cool product. They wanted to show the product in action, its ease of use, and its uniqueness.
I suggested that we approach this video in simplest terms possible. No actors, no voice over, not even music. We definetly bootstrapped this video, but in the end, it works! After putting the video on Youtube, Heirloom Safe & Chest was approached by major safe manufacturers about their new product. The best thing about this video is that it can be modified to adjust with the client’s budget. It can be polished into a more high end piece by adding a voice over, music, graphics, and additional footage.
So when I get the question, “How much is this going to cost me?” I always reply back, “Well, what’s your budget, we can really start anywhere.”
Having visual elements on your website provides tools that . . .
1. Expand sales activity without added sales cost
2. Enable you to sell your product or service before you even meet your customer
3. Use visual representations to communicate your value immediately
4. Contact and qualify many more people
5. Deliver your perfect pitch over and over again without any mistakes
